Your questions answered
We’ve gathered some of the questions we’re most often asked by parents, donors, and supporters.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.
You can apply for support or sponsorship by completing our “Sponsor a Child” form.
We review every request carefully and get to know each family personally. Once accepted, your child may receive help with therapy sessions, equipment, or other essential needs.
When a child is approved for sponsorship, we provide funding directly for their treatments, therapy sessions, or specialist services. We don’t just make a one-off donation – we stay involved for as long as we can, ensuring consistent and meaningful support.
We can help with a wide range of needs, depending on the child’s situation. This may include:
- Therapy or medical treatment
- Specialist equipment or resources
- Family respite and activity days
- Transport costs related to care or appointments
- Holiday breaks for families in need of rest and recovery
Each case is reviewed individually to make sure we’re providing the right kind of help.
Every penny you donate goes directly to helping children and their families. Truly BeLoved is completely non-profit – we have zero overhead costs as a charity as our founder covers the cost for our charity shop to run. All of our trustees, staff, and volunteers give their time freely to ensure that every donation makes the biggest possible difference.
